Synopsis:

The main aim of this course is a introduction to the basic structures of power pulse converters. The students can also get information on a converter design, and usage of snubber and protection circuits. The characteristics and data sheets of active power devices mainly used for the design including also cooling parts. As a result the student will be able to elaborate a complex design of a power pulse converter.
