Synopsis:

Restrained (bending) torsion of thin-walled profiles. Matrix methods to be applied on trusses and frameworks. Force and deformation methods. Finite element method (FEM). Fatigue strength of materials. Mechanics of brittle fracture. Influence of plastic zones on cracks propagation. Subcritical crack growth. Plastic limit analysis of structures. Limit analysis of trusses, beams, frameworks and plates.

5.Finite element method (FEM).

7.Mechanics of brittle fracture.
