Electrotechnic terms, electron theory, static electricity, electrical conductivity and terminology, electrical resistance, resistor, capacity and capacitor, inductance and inductor, powers, DC circuits - simplicity method, superposition, node-voltage method, mesh - circuit method, AC current, characteristics of AC waveforms, 3-phase el. power, AC circuits - Steinmetz's symbolic method, power, filters.

1. Theory of the electron, conductivity of materials, terminology

2. Electrical resistance, resistors

3. Derivation and integral in electrical engineering, capacity and capacitor

4. Inductance, coil

5. DC circuits (dividers, simplification, superposition)

6. DC circuits (power sources)

7. DC circuits (Node - Voltages method, Mesh - Analyze method)

8. Alternating current theory, mean/rms values

9. AC circuits (complex symbolic method)

10. Theory of alternating current, 3-phase system

11. AC circuits (powers)

12. Basics of electrical measurements

13. Safety in electrical engineering

14. Reserve, consultation

1. Theory of the electron, basic quantities

2. 1st laboratory exercise: Getting to know the devices

3. Energy, power, circuit elements (resistor)

4. Circuit elements (inductor, capacitor)

5. 2nd laboratory exercise: R, L, C time waveforms

6. DC circuits (wiring of elements, dividers)

7. DC circuits (simplification, superposition, Thévenin's and Norton's theorem)

8. DC circuits (Node - Voltage Methos, Mesh - Analyze method)

9. 3rd laboratory exercise: DC circuits

10. Characteristics of AC waveforms

11. AC circuits - harmonic steady state

12. 4th laboratory exercise: AC circuits

13. Measuring devices

14. Reserve, substitute laboratory exercise

Study Objective:

Acquire basic knowledge as required by Commission Regulation (EC) No 2042/2003 (Module 3 - level 1).
