Extension of knowledge from basic course of thermal protection of buildings. Analysis of boundary conditions for calculations, governing equations for heat and moisture transfer, thermal transmittance of windows and curtain walling, linear and point thermal transmittance, constructions with ventilated air layer, energy performance certificate, thermal protection of historical buildings.

2. Thermal transmittance of windows, doors, skylights and curtain walling
3. Calculation of multidimensional temperature fields and their use in design (surface temperature, linear and point thermal transmittance)
4. Building energy performance certificate
5. Thermal stability of a room and protection against overheating
6. Moisture transfer in constructions with ventilated air layer and moisture sensitive constructions
7. Hygro thermal behaviour of historical heated and unheated buildings
