Synopsis:

• Measurement of forces, position, speed, acceleration, temperature, thermocouples

• Planning, implementation and evaluation of machining experiments

• Experimental study of chip formation, primary and secondary plastic deformation

• Study of the surface layer of machined surfaces, residual stresses and surface hardening

• Measurement of cutting and vibration forces during machining, heat measurement, cutting temperatures and temperature fields, wear and durability of tools

• Experimental study of machinability, cutting and process fluid properties

• Impact of technological processes on surface quality

• Evaluation of thermal and voltage fields

• Microgeometry and structure of surfaces, defects

• Structural changes in the subsurface layer, changes in mechanical characteristics, physical and chemical changes

• Residual stresses, measurement and evaluation of residual stresses

• Comprehensive expression of surface quality, quality impact on properties and operational behavior of components

• Mechanical consolidation processes, functional layers and coatings
