Gain basic practical knowledge in theory of metal forming utilised in metal forming processes used in mechanical engineering industry.

Fundamentals of plasticity.

Stress and strain tensors

Stress-strain curves and related mechanical properties and phenomena

Methods for analysing metalworking processes. Calculation of load and energy parameters.

Formability of metals and criteria, and influencing criteria.

Forming limit curves in sheet and bulk metal forming (FLC. FLD)
