- Synopsis:
-
The main objective of the course is to understand how the simulation software works and how to work with it. The process will be divided into casting mould casting, pouring casting, casting cooling and associated processes (stagnation, crystallization of structure, stress and deformation in casting, mould loading, etc.). Specification of initial and boundary conditions e.g. heat transfer, air gap definition, metal tearing away from mould, etc.
