Advanced power generation systems and the factors that form them.

Energy engineering at the early 21st century.

Theoretical physical limits, technological, ecological and economical potentials of energy sources.

Non-renewable resources depletion effects.

Increased use of new and renewable energy sources.

Power engineering machines and systems as elemental components of conversion chains for temporal- and spatialoptimal application of potentials conventional and alternative energy sources.

Conceptual design of advanced power systems in centralized power generation.

Conceptual design of advanced power systems in distributed power generation.

Efficiency of energy sources utilization and its limits.

Social aspects of energy engineering.

Content of lectures will be modified according to the thesis subject.
