Synopsis:

Geodesy. Organization of surveying services in Czech Republic. Geodetic points and geodetic datum systems. Topographical base for construction activities. Setting-out. Documentation of as-built state. Real estate register. Calculation of prices for surveying services.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. INTRODUCTION: Earth approximation, geodetic points, cartography, reference systems, geographical coordinates.

2. COORDINATE CALCULATIONS: perpendicular, rayon (spatial polar method), orthogonal method, omnidirectional, measurement of angles, lengths, heights.

3. MAPPING, STATE MAP WORK: Contents of cadastral maps, SM5 and SM10, special purpose maps (technical map of the city 1:200 and 1:500), ZABAGED, medium and small scale.

4. CATASTR OF REAL ESTATE: Organisation of the surveying service in the Czech Republic, legal regulations in surveying.

5. OTHER METHODS IN GEODESIA: GNSS, laser scanning, photogrammetry (photoplan, orthophoto, aerial photogrammetry).

6. GEODETHICAL FOCUS OF THE STATE OF THE BUILDING: Focus of the current state (in relation to the regulations).

Study Objective:

Introduction to main geodetic tasks in construction. To gain skills for communication with surveying specialists and skills for performance of basic surveying tasks, in architectural practice.
