This course provides a portfolio of tools from micro-economics, presents basic economic terms, legal forms of entrepreneurship, founding budget, costs and their structure. Main contents of the subject are the problematics of accounting statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). The subject also deals with competition analysis, financial analysis, price strategy and the tax system. Students will get a general overview of the company and its key functional areas.

a) Max. 30 points - control test (mid-semester)
b) Max. 10 points - activities on seminars
c) Max. 60 points - (min 50% success rate)

- Study Objective:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to define various business systems, with their potential risks and rewards. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the missions and objectives of enterprise. The objective of this subject is to present the basic economical concepts, entrepreneurship possibilities and pros and cons of different legal forms of entrepreneurship. Draw up founding budget. Introduce the problematics of costs, salaries, business environment analysis, market survey, competition analysis, product life cycle, pricing strategy. Students of this course will learn to read and understand financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements. The students will be acquainted with business financial assessment and its link to the tax system.
