Exercises
Compulsory attendance and active participation in exercises with one permitted absence without the need for compensation. In case of a larger number of absences for serious reasons, it will be dealt with individually. Completion of all planned experiments is mandatory. In the event that the student will not be able to participate in the experiments, it is necessary to agree with the guarantor of the field on the form of replacement of the exercise. Credit will be given to students who prepare protocols from laboratory tasks. The protocols have the structure and form of an IMRaD article (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion)
Exam
The exam consists of a presentation, discussion and free questions. For the final exam, the student prepares a 10-minute presentation on a topic related to the topics discussed. The presentation is followed by a 20-minute discussion with the examiner on the chosen topic. The scope and quality of the presentation processing (weight 30%) and answers to additional questions (weight 30%) are evaluated. In the final phase of the exam, the student answers questions based on topics according to the course syllabus (weight 40%).
