Synopsis:

Thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, modern physics. The lecture is supplemented with practical investigation and demonstration of selected physical phenomena.

Requirements:

4.Magnetic induction, Farraday´s law.

5.Maxwell equations.

6.Electricity and magnetism applications. Electromagnetic waves, photon.

7.Optics.

8.Special theory of relativity.

9.Short introduction to quantum physics.

10.Nuclear physics.

11.Modern physics.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1.RLC circuits, driven and dumped oscillations

2.Line spectra of Hg and Na spectral lamps using prism spectrometer.

3.Geometrical optics.

4.Interference and diffraction of light.

5.Specific electron of charge

6.Energy loss of alpha particles in gases.

7.Spectrum of gamma radiation.
