The course deals with advanced imaging techniques, which are used mainly for diagnostic purposes in clinical practice. Emphasis will be placed on the technical principle of the devices, on the possibilities and limitations of individual modalities. The issue of image reconstruction in tomographic imaging systems will also be addressed.

Credit requirements:

Compulsory participation in exercises, max. 1 absence excused. The student must submit the processed assigned tasks within the given deadlines.

Exam evaluation:

The exam is realized by a written test and oral exam in the form of a discussion of the test results.

It is not possible to take the exam without obtaining the credit and registering the credit in KOS. The evaluation is carried out according to the ECTS scale based on the results of the semester and exam test.
