Synopsis:

Students will learn how to use Matlab, get knowledge of data structures and with data and working with data and their display. During the semester, they will gain knowledge of creating scripts in Matlab and the basics for their use in the processing of biomedical data.

Requirements:

During the semester there will be a small tasks (for 50 points) and the final test at the end of the semester (50 points). The grade is determined by the number of points obtained and the ECTS scale.

1. Basic description of Matlab environment and characteristics (core, toolboxes, Simulink, help). Command line, elementary

real number operations.

2. Variables, work with character strings, mathematical functions, vectors.

3. Relational operators, matrices and vectors, operations with matrices, generating matrices, special types of matrices, indexing matrices,

storing and retrieving variables.

4. Scripts and functions, conditional statements.

5. Structures, cells, cycles.

6. 2D graphics, continuous 2D graph, multiple curves in one window, graph appearance, logarithmic coordinates, multiple images in one

window, save and transfer the graph.

7. Credit test
