Synopsis:

The course is intended for students of doctoral studies who are interested in expanding their knowledge in the field of construction implementation and control mechanisms on construction sites. Emphasis is placed on asphalt surfaced roadways.

Requirements:

Preparation of a seminar paper on the given topic, then the compilation of a metallurgical scheme and verification of its functionality with specialized software.

Syllabus of lectures:

1. Production of asphalt mixes and concrete, packaging plants, concrete plants, asphalt mix design

2. Transport and traffic mechanisms, optimization of traffic routes

3. Laying of asphalt mixes, concrete, unpaved mixes and hydraulically cemented mixes

4. Compaction mechanisms and compaction, selection of compaction equipment, design of compaction set-up based on site boundary conditions

5. Quality control

6. Modern and innovative methods of inspection of the work carried out

Syllabus of tutorials:

not

Study Objective:

The aim of the study is to deepen the knowledge in the field of construction implementation and control mechanisms on the construction site. The student should be able to design the entire construction process, i.e. production - transport - laying, so that it is implemented in accordance with each other with minimal impact on the surrounding environment and with optimization of construction techniques, i.e. minimizing the carbon footprint.
