Synopsis:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the possibilities of diagnostics and therapy using technical instruments. Emphasis is placed on explaining the principles of this type of therapy and on the use of specific rehabilitation systems in clinical practice.

History, principles and applications of virtual reality and augmented reality in rehabilitation

Visual feedback in diagnosis and therapy of patients with balance disorders, robotic exoskeletons

Therapy and diagnosis of limb movement disorders with visual feedback

Therapy of cognitive impairment using technical instruments

Patient monitoring for home therapy

Kinematic analysis of motion in patients with motor deficiency

An overview of foreign clinical studies focused on technical instruments in rehabilitation

The current development of the introduction of technical devices in the Czech Republic

Research and modern trends in the diagnostic application of technical instruments in the Czech Republic and abroad

Research and modern trends in the therapeutic application of virtual reality in the Czech Republic and abroad
