Infrastructure of hospital and its architecture. Distributions of stuff (engineering distributions – electro-circuits, specifics of the circuits, water, gas distribution, systems of power, sources, drives, compensation, spaces in health care – specifics of elementary spaces, steam distribution). Practical seminars from design of the project. Typical Czech norms and standards Ministry of health CR specifying all requirements for different departments and devices. Barrier-free construction of health institutions.
- Requirements:

Classified assessment: Student has to attend minimally 65 % of seminars. The student has to achieve minimally 60 % of points in at least one test from two.
Exam: Realization of simple study and its defense (40 %), written exam with 2 questions with a possibility of further oral exam (60 %).

1. Legaislation of medical devices regulation and use
2. Planning, needs assessment, selection, purchase, installation and maintenance of medical equipment
3. Design of feasibility studies, project documentation, engineering networks
4. Purpose of use and acquisition of medical technology, depreciation and disposal of capital assets
5. Handover of new medical device
6. Training in the safe use, repair and maintenance of the medical device, training of medical and technical staff
7. Maintenance, servicing and its valuation, depreciation curves, actual cost of maintenance, servicing
8. Decommissioning and disposal of medical technology
9. Pricing of medical technology, MRI, CT, SPECT, respirators, monitoring, patient records, anaesthesia equipment, laboratory, refrigerators, diesel generators, vacuum pumps, UPS, compressors
