The course is designed to prepare students for the final work of FBMI CTU, which will demonstrate the student's own analytical and creative abilities as well as his / her ability to integrate knowledge from the previous stages of study.
The Diploma Thesis Seminar 1 follows up the subject Annual Project. The seminar is conceived as a continuous and controlled work on the methodology of the student's research work. On the basis of the current state of the problem, the student will choose the appropriate methods for the Diploma Thesis solution and develop a specific chapter - Methods. The contents of the seminar are the presentation of the procedure, the selection of appropriate methods for processing the student's diploma thesis and their ongoing review and discussion. All students will present their research on Student Scientific Conference.

1. Allowed absence - 1 exercise
2. Meeting the requirements of the 1st presentation:
The presentation will include: specification of DP work objectives, synthetic conclusions of the state of the issue, selected methods, work schedule.
The student must obtain at least 10 points out of 20.
3. Meeting the requirements of the 2nd presentation:
The presentation will include: work goals, overall work status, description of methods, interim results, data collection, work schedule.
The presentation will take place at the FBMI Student Conference
The student must obtain at least 20 points out of 40.
4. Processing of a specific chapter of DP - methods.
The work will be handed in at the end of November (the date will be specified at the first seminar) with the approval of the supervisor.
Evaluation: Current state of the issue, goals of the work, methods, outline of the next procedure, literature, formal side.
The number of pages is unlimited, it depends on the type of DP.
The student must obtain at least 20 points out of 40.
