This course consists of lectures held by specialists in the field (representatives of companies and research institutes).

Syllabus of lectures:

The students will listen to lectures given by various experts in the field. The topics of individual lectures are chosen carefully in order to cover the maximum of different branches of the field in which the future graduate may apply. Invited experts will focus on the practical topics and examples without explaining the theoretical background. For this reason, the attendants of this course are expected to have extensive theoretical knowledge corresponding to the level of the last year student of this study program.

The guests of the seminar will be the representatives of research institutes (eg ÚJV Řež, a.s.), commercial institutions (eg NUVIA, a.s.) and other organizations (eg DIAMO, s.p., ČEZ and others). Most of the represented institutions (those who play a key role in the field in the Czech Republic) will be invited every year to give their lecture. However, the timetable of the seminar leaves a room for minor modifications between the different years so that the composition of the represented institutions corresponds to the individual interests of the students who are usually focused on specific issues in the last year of their study.
