Requirements:

Final report.

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to water resources balances in basins

Surface waters and pollution sources

Basic principles of landscape water retention assessments

Surface flow modelling and water balancing

Soil erosion modelling principles

Sediment transport modelling principles

Balances of nutrients and nutrient sources

Sediment trapping in reservoirs

Integrated modelling of sediment transport in watersheds

Application of sediment transport models in watersheds

Landscape management scenarios for water resources protection

Agricultural management scenarios for water resources protection

Scenarios of technical measures implementation for water resources protection

Syllabus of tutorials:

following the lectures.

Study Objective:

To put together theory and application of models in several scales and spatial and temporal resolutions. to show potentials of modelling for design of mitigation strategies and watershed protection in changing climate.
