GIS 2 is focused on a wide range of advanced analyses in the raster GIS using map algebra, on interpolation and extrapolation in 2D and 3D, on statistical data description, geostatistics and graph theory for optimisation tasks of network analysis.

3. Reclassification, distance measurement, buffers in raster data, cost surface, low cost path
4 Parameters of DTM, curvature, temporal development of DTM
5. 2D interpolation and extrapolation
6. Voronoi polygons, Delauney triangles, 3D local spatial interpolation, IDW
7. Local point selection, RDF, contour lines, geostatistics - semivariograms
8. Empiric and theoretical semivariogram, kriging, examples, spline interpolation
9. Analytical geometry for GIS
10. Statistical description of point spatial data
11. Exploratory data analysis, Q-Q graph, outliers
