This course combines theoretical and practical skills in building chemistry, without chemical formulas and equations. It touches on issues related to the composition, preparation, and use of basic building materials. It extends the knowledge acquired in Chemistry.

Getting credit:
Elaboration and submission of the protocols of laboratory exercises.
Completion of the course - exam:
1. written part - preparation for at least 50%,
2. oral interview - additional questions for the test.
The exam covers all the material covered in lectures 1-12.

10. Wood and resins.
11. Coatings, adhesives, sealants.
12. Analyses of building materials.
13. Summary and revision for the exam.
