The aim of the course is to understand the issue of integrated facility management in the context of the currently valid standards ČSN EN 15221 and ČSN EN ISO 41001 - Facility management. Students will become familiar with the principles of efficient building operation, including the provision of support activities in the form of in-house and outsourcing. As part of the life cycle of buildings, they solve the issue of operating costs, including maintenance and renewal planning, where they use the Buildpass application.
Students will learn to work with the ARCHIBUS CAFM system, from linking the BIM model from the Revit application to solving practical tasks in building management and operation.

1. Introduction, basic concepts and basic principles of facility management
2. FM standards (ČSN EN 15221-1 Facility management, ČSN EN ISO 41001 - Facility management)
3. Building management - ensuring the smooth running of the building, contracts, form of provision (outsourcing, in-house)
4. Workplace management - the ability to effectively optimize the organizational level of the company in the context of the work environment
5. Building equipment from the point of view of building operation (air conditioning, heating, elevators, electrical installation, water supply, sewerage, chimneys - operation, maintenance, inspection)
6. Work with the SW application for building maintenance and renewal planning in the context of LCC (Buildpass)
7. Work with SW solutions for managing buildings, real estate and workplaces (Archibus)
