Synopsis:

The subject is focused on concrete and masonry structures. The assignment can be: elaboration of the structural design documentation, the analysis of the given problem requiring subject matter search and literature retrieval, the numerical analysis of the selected element or part of the structure, the preparation, execution and evaluation of experiments, etc. Collaboration of several students on one assignments is also possible.

Consultation with participating departments K124 and K135 is not mandatory for all students. The extent of outputs depends on the type of assignment and the decision of the leading teacher.

Requirements:

Regular consultations, delivering of partial tasks, processing of required outputs.

Syllabus of lectures:

There are no lectures in the subject.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Gradual fulfillment of partial tasks of an individual assignment according to the established time schedule, consultation, discussion. Processing of final outputs.

Study Objective:

Independent self-work on an assigned task/project, study and evaluation of findings from professional literature. Evaluation of conclusions. The aim of the project may also be the processing of the given problem as input data for the diploma thesis.

Study materials:

According to given assignment and recommendation of the tutor.
