- Study Objective:

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basic principles of modern project management in the context of contemporary needs and trends of the 21st century. It deepens knowledge in various areas of project management while maintaining its integrity. In this respect, the course provides the comprehensive basis for the follow-up study of specific agile managerial disciplines with a specific focus on IT, industry, product management, design, science & research sectors.
The purpose is, among other, to acquaint the students with:
. subject and overall structure of the theory and practice of modern (agile) project management,
. basic terms and concepts of agile project management,
. content, techniques and tools of key subdisciplines,
. wide range of specific software tools,
. current trends in modern project management and its prospects for the future.
The expected outcome of the course is that students will:
. understand overall thematic structure and issues of modern (agile) project management,
. explain the content and scope of the basic tools and techniques of agile project management, and apply it in the practical exercises,
. explain the essence of project management trends, and their influence on future theory and especially the practice of project management, and apply it in the practical exercises.
