Synopsis:

Operation and management of watercourses, duties of watercourse managers, inspection and maintenance of watercourse channels, records of watercourse channels, operation of watercourses under difficult conditions, flood risk management plans, relevant legislation.

Study Objective:

In this course, students will expand their knowledge of the management, operation and maintenance of watercourses and related legislation. As part of the course, they will independently prepare a study dealing with the diverse interests and benefits of a watercourse from the perspective of a range of stakeholders
