Syllabus of tutorials:

Formal requirements for completion of the course

Attendance at the studio is mandatory in both the morning instructional and afternoon consultation sessions, both of which will be documented by attendance records.

A minimum of 10 consultations per semester must be completed during the studio class time.

Preparation and presentation of research on similar examples from abroad must be completed

Compulsory presentations and discussions on the proposals must be completed, the dates of which will be

always set in advance. Participation in the presentation does not replace the consultation.

Study Objective:

The aim of the studio AMG2 (pre-diploma project) developed in studio K 127 with students of the A+U specialization is to solve relationally complex territories. This is done through an urban planning task dedicated to specific problems of the urban structure, spatial and functional relationships in redevelopment areas, in areas of functional conversion and in undeveloped areas, in urban and suburban landscapes. The project continues with its diploma phase.

The more extensive urban design at this stage does not need to be taken to a detailed design of the architectural concept of the ensemble or even the building, such detail is then more a matter for the subsequent thesis.

 For specific assignments, the project leader may decide on a joint solution of the urban design task by two students, whereby the urban design can be developed in variants and the architectural concept will be developed independently by each student.

 The solution of the pre-diploma project assignment will be the starting point for the subsequent more detailed urban planning, urban planning-architectural or urban planning-landscaping assignment of the diploma project.
