Synopsis:

Students learn to apply knowledge acquired in the subject Introduction to Architecture Design to simple abstract tasks. Principles of Form and Space Composition. Idea and form of abstract surface and spatial composition. The physical model as a form of verification of compositional intentions.

Requirements:

Surface, relief and spatial compositions on a specified theme.

Drawing combining 2D drawings and paper, relief models.

Architectural model of spatial composition.

1. Assignment: interpretation of the assignment in a way that allows it to be quickly understood.

2. Creative research and discussion about architecture: in the form of discussions, screenings, exhibition visits, etc., support of expressive skills. Area compositions.

Study Objective:

The ability to create a surface or spatial composition based on a clearly formulated assignment.

Arouse the student's interest in the field.

„Recast“ his ways of thinking and graphic expression from the position of high school art creation to the position of a future architect.

To introduce the student to the world of architecture through the research of world authors

Understand and learn to work with compositional principles and categories (openness, closedness, static, dynamism, symmetry, asymmetry, rhythm, gradation) and expressive means of harmonizing an architectural work (scale, proportion, contrast, agreement, color, structure, tectonics, stereotomy) .

To learn and practice the basic principles of creating surface and spatial composition in the architectural sense of the word, i.e. composition as a harmonious, abstract composition of partial parts in relation to each other and to the whole.
