Synopsis:

Extended course in CFD focused on practical problem solutions using CFD codes of ANSYS software.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Basic CFD capability in the range of ?CFD for thermal engineering I? subject.

Syllabus of lectures:

Introduction to the WorkBench environment and to the Design Modeler and Ansys Meshing pre-processors. CFD ? basic conservation equations, discretization, solvers, convergence and relaxation processes. Laminar and turbulent flow description, used models. Introduction to the post-processing (CFD-post). Computational process experiences.

Syllabus of tutorials:

Practical applications of modeling and simulations in the thermal engineering field by using of Design Modeler and ANSYS Meshing pre-processors, ANSYS Fluent CFD code and CFD-post post-processor.

Study Objective:

Praktická znalost použití metody CFD při řešení úloh zaměřených na tepelnou techniku v prostředí CFD programů ANSYS.
