Department of Aerospace Engineering

The assignment of Project II mostly comes from practical needs of the industry or the research and development intentions of the University.

Conceptual design of an airframe structure or its part, research and preparing of data acording to the assignment, construction design, loading of the construction in terms of the certification specifications and choosing of its determinative cases for stress analysis. Working out a technical report and presentation of the results.

In case of assigning a different character (flow, stress analysis, technology experiment), the tutor will formulate the subject to enable continuation in Project III. The formal condidtion to fulfill the project requirements are the same as in the assignment of a construction character.

Completion of compulsory and choice-compulsory subjects of the first semester of master's degree in Aerospace Technology.

Parallel with the overlapping compulsory and choice-compulsory subjects in the second semester of master's degree in Aerospace Technology.

Syllabus of lectures:
Syllabus of tutorials:

The basic point will be assigned according to assignment by the tutor of the course.

Study Objective:

Craft and defend in presentation the conceptual proposal of an aircraft construction or its part, containing research and data collection for the task assigned, creating a system proposal for the construction solution, determination of load considering the aviation regulations and selection of critical cases for sizing, creation of a 3D model of a construction solution with an adequate software, crafting a technical report. In case of assigning a different character (flow, stress analysis, technology, experiment) the tutor will give the assignment in a way that will be continuable in Project III.
