Students are acquainted with detailed methods employed in epidemiology of transmissible diseases and in epidemiology of the environment and with diseases of non-infectious origin and are able to prepare and provide solution of a number of priorities of the public health protection.

passing the examination by the method set.

Epidemiology of the environment.
Non-infectious epidemiology (cancer diseases, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, etc.).
Surveillance principles.
Acute respiratory disease.
Intestinal infections.
Neural infections.
Viral hepatitis.
Sexually transmissible diseases.
Parasitic infections and infections transmissible to man.
Infections with natural foci.
Nosocomial infections and antibacterial resistance.
Newly occurring infections.
Vaccination programmes.
