Students are taught how to read and write a scholarly text in the social sciences, how to write and lecture about science, how to write professional work and a thesis.
- Requirements:

100% participation in tutorials, lectures,
demonstration of the knowledge mastered by a written test.

Lectures:
1st week Science and its structure, nature of scientific work and its targets.
2nd week Basic concepts (hypothesis, regularity, theory, model).
3rd - 4th weeks Compilation of an information portfolio, searching for information based on information technologies.
5th week Principles of experiments in medicine, processes of measurements and their evaluation.
6th week Implementation of methods of sociological and psychological research.
6th - 7th weeks Arrangement of a project, structure of research work.
8th week Defending a research report.
9th-10th weeks Proposal of a scientific work project, structure of scientific communication, compilation of outline.
11th week Formation of a scientific project portfolio.
12th-13th weeks Searching for information at internet, in catalogues of libraries, in bibliographic systems.
14th week Philosophical aspects of scientific work, philosophical systems, contemporary views.
