Synopsis:

The course focuses on introduction to the origins and sources of medicinal substances, defines the terms drug, drug terminology, and their place in the pharmacopoeia. To understand the effects of drugs are also lectures focused on the issues of pharmacokinetics and models suitably chosen examples are demonstrated kinetics of drugs in the body. Based on these findings are discussed systematically basic pharmaceutical group focused on the mechanism of their effects

100% participation in practical exercises,

demonstration of the knowledge mastered by a written test.

examination:

written test, 80 % success rate.

Oral examination on the basis of the decision field supervisor.

caution: intervals between repeated examinations must not be shorter than seven days.

Affecting the circulation system by medicines

Neuropharmaceuticals. Medicines in psychiatry - drug addictions
