Synopsis:

Basic orthopaedics and traumatology of the locomotor apparatus. Complex outline of the prevention, diagnostics and therapy of locomotor apparatus disorders with the application of most modern trends in orthopaedic surgery with putting emphasize on subsequent rehabilitation. Complex outline of the locomotor apparatus traumatology with subsequent conservative therapy and next modern procedures of subsequent rehabilitation and inclusion of the patient into the society.

Requirements:

credit:

100% participation in practical exercises,

demonstration of the knowledge mastered by a written test.

examination:

written test, 80% success rate.

Oral examination on the basis of the decision field supervisor.

caution: intervals between repeated examinations must not be shorter than seven days.

Importance of fitness exercise in

orthopaedics, physiotherapy in early post-

operative period

Types of orthopaedic tolls and their use in

practice

Training of the gait

Total endo-prosthesis of the hip joints

Total endo-prosthesis of the knee joint

Surgical interventions on the shoulder joint

Fractures of the upper end of the femur,

cervicocapital endo-prostheses,

osteosyntheses, Ender nails, etc.

Injury to the knee joint, conservative and

surgical treatment, damage to knee ligaments

Congenital defects of the hip joint

Traumatology of soft tissues

Sport injuries

Injuries of the abdominal and thoracic

cavities

Traumatology of the head. Traumatology of the axial system

Short-term affiliation at an orthopaedic department with training the rehabilitation care in orthopaedic patients
