The course is aimed at providing theoretically deeper knowledge in the area of Expert systems and artificial intelligence in medicine.
- Requirements:

- Syllabus of lectures:

1.Definition of artificial intelligence. Systems and models, feedback, adaptation.
2.State space, - informed methods (gradient algorithms, A*) and uninformed methods (search to depth and width).
3.Mathematical logic, proofs statements with resolution.
4.Recognition - signature and structural methods, classification, criteria of minimal distance and minimal error.
5.Machine learning, trees of decision.
6.Knowledge and expert systems (diagnostic, planning, hybrid).
7.Distributed artificial intelligence, multi-agent systems, coordination, cooperation, communication.
8.Evolutional computational techniques, genetic algorithms, evolutional programming, genetic programming, grammatical evolution.
9.Neural networks, classifiers, approximations
10.Multilayer perceptronal network, learning methods.
11.Fuzzy systems.
12.Analysis, synthesis and speech processing.
13.Robotics.

1.Implementation of basic methods of state space searching (searching to depth and width, A*).
2.Decision tasks.
3.Implementation of classic methods for data classification (mainly k NN and Bayes' classifier).
4.Virtual robot controlling,
