Introduction into probability theory and mathematical statistics. Classical, geometrical and Kolmogorov definitions of probability. Random variables, their distributions, characteristics, transformations. Population and sample. Parameter estimators. Statistical tests.

Credit requirements:
To obtain the credit it is necessary to pass three credit tests during the semester. At least 75% of points must be obtained from these tests. Credit is a necessary condition before passing the exam.
Examination Requirements:
Prerequisite for passing the exam is obtaining credit. The exam will be oral and will be evaluated according to Study and examination rules.

9. Testing hypotheses in a normal distribution.
10. Non-parametric tests.
11. Analysis of variance.
12. Principles of experimental design.

11. One-sample test hypotheses about the mean value compared with an interval estimate.
12. And two-sided paired test hypotheses about the mean value.
