Synopsis:

MS Outlook - operating, use as 'Personal Information Manager' and use as email client, set up and management of accounts, Exchange server client, working with language 'Microsoft Visual Basic for Application (VBA)', COM model; MS Word - basic of typography, advanced format using styles, basic DTP, wholesale correspondence, creating XML documents, XSLT - Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations, multi users document edit, macros creating; MS Excel - cell and sheet format, working with functions and equations, data analysis, macros creating and interactive aplications; MS Access - relation database and database in MS Access, creating new database and tables, data searching and sorting, relations betwen tables, using 'Data Access Pages (DAP)', database security; MS Project - Project establishing, tasks, resources, duration monitoring, task revision, project server; MS PowerPoint - making presentations, working with the text and objects, graphics and multimedia, automatic, interactive and web presentations, makros; MS FrontPage, MS Publisher, MS Visios - familiarizing with functionality and effective usage; mutual integration of applications MS Office package

Requirements:

For successful completion of this course you must obtain at least 50 points (out of 100). 15 points in the exercises progress tests, final test 85 points

Syllabus of lectures:

1.MS Outlook - administration, set up and management of accounts, management of contacts, notices, personal information manager, calendar, scheduler.

2.POP3, SMTP, IMAP services, cryptography, communication email sucurity, digital signature.

3.MS Word - basic of typography, advanced format using styles, basic DTP.

4.MS Word - wholesale correspondence, creating XML documents, XSLT - Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations, multi users document edit, macros creating.

5.MS Excel - cell and sheet format, working with functions and equations.

6.MS Excel - data analysis, macros creating and interactive aplications, conecting to other database due to ODBC.

7.MS Access - relation database, administration, creating new database and tables, tables normalization rules, data integrity.

8.MS Access - data searching and sorting, relations betwen tables, using 'Data Access Pages (DAP)', database security.

9.ONE NOTE - creating notices, audio and video record.

10.MS Project - Project establishing, tasks, resources, duration monitoring, task revision, project server.

11.MS Powerpoint - making presentations, working with the text and objects.

12.MS Powerpoint - graphics and multimedia, automatic, interactive and web presentations.

13.MS Publisher, MS Visio - familiarizing with functionality and effective usage; mutual integration of applications MS Office package.

Syllabus of tutorials:

1. Outlook set up, message sending and receiving, cryptography digital signature.

2.Basic of typography, advanced format using styles at MS Word, generation of summary, making indexes and cross- links, vizualization, export of data to other forms.

3.Data manipulation at MS Excel, macros creating, data vizualization,connect to database, export and import of data.

4.Creating new database in MS Access, its management, creating tables, integrity rules, creating database query and views to the database.

5.Project establishing at MS Project, work group, set up of tasks and users management, theory of control.

6.MS Powerpoint - making presentations, working with the text and objects, interactive and web presentations.

7.Credit test.
