Physiology and principles of testing of following will be discussed: vision, stereoscopy, visual field, central and peripheral vision, contrast sensitivity, dark adaptation, pupillary reactions, accommodation, eye movements, double vision, binocular vision, tear film, electrophysilogical methods.

Assessment: active participation on the solution of excercises.
Examination: fulfillment of requirements for assessment, knowledges covering the extent of the course.

1. Visual acuity, optotypes, criteria of visual impairment
2. Examination of visual acuity in special conditions (different age categories, cooperation of patient)
3. Basic ophthalmologic examination I (biomicroscopy)
4. Basic ophthalmologic examination II (opthalmoscopy, tonometry)
5. Examination of eye movement I
6. Examination of eye movement II + possible pathological findings
7. Examination of binocular vision I
8. Examination of binocular vision II
9. Examination of pupil response, possible pathological findings
10. Examination of visual field
11. Examination of color sense
12. Electrophysiological examination methods, ultrasound
