Introduction to Particle Physics
- Garant předmětu:
- Department of Dosimetry and Application of Ionizing Radiation
In the modern particle physics experiments, there are specialists from other fields of science and engeneering including dosimetry. The aim of this lecture is to provide an introduction into problems of particle physics and the terminology used there for students of dosimetry.
- Syllabus of lectures:
1. Basic terms and quantities
2. Historical overview
3. Particle hierarchy
4. Special relativity
5. Quantum theory in glance
6. Feymann Diagram
- Syllabus of tutorials:
- Study Objective:
The goal of lectures is to take the students around the particle physics world and to introduce them into problems of modern particle
We will practice the understanding of the relativistic and quantum spectacle of the universe.
