This course will focuse on interdisciplinary topics on soil contamination and remediation. Topics include: Introduction to soil physics and soil chemistry, impacts of contaminants on the environment, detection methods and soil cleanup.

6.Site survey, field methods of contaminants detection
7.Soil remediation methods: Pump-and-treat Systems, Solvent Vapor Extraction, Air Sparging, Soil Flushing
