- Synopsis:

Planning and evaluating of precision of the geodetic activities, evaluation of precision of measurement and setting-out of distances, angles and verticals including sources of errors. Geodetic setting-out networks positional, altimetric and spatial (derivation of precision), evaluation of precision of positional and altimetric setting-out of elementary parts of a building structure, derivation of main elements of transition curve including solution of circular arcs with transition curves, evaluation of precision and provableness of building structures shifts and deformations.

- Syllabus of lectures:

1. Basic knowledge from the subject ING for Bachelor's study, studied in the 4th year (legislative provision, terminology and marking, precision characteristics in IG and relationships between them, technological procedures, position and height networks, arcs, displacement measurement and reshaping).
2.Measurement accuracy planning in engineering surveying (accuracy analysis before measurement, accuracy analysis during measurement, accuracy analysis after measurement, application of the law of random and standard deviation transfer in IG).
3.Procedures for direct and indirect length measurement (derivation of accuracy for the base bar at the end and middle of the measured length, derivation of accuracy of inaccessible distance, including determination of the optimum base bar length for parallax and electronic rangefinder).
4.Methods of measuring horizontal bearings (errors affecting the accuracy of measured bearings and angles, evaluation of the effect of centering at the station and targets on horizontal angle accuracy).
5.Polygon grids (plan, line and irregular), evaluation of the accuracy of the types of polygon series used (derivation of the accuracy of a free polygon series), rectangular grids, the method of intermediate positions, elementary surveying problems (evaluation in terms of accuracy, derivation of the accuracy of the polar method using implicit and explicit equations - principle).
6.Position delineation, accuracy of delineation of elementary elements of a building object - point, line segment and angle by polar method (derivation of accuracy of point and line segment length from one position with differentiation of influence of substrate and measured quantities) and orthogonal coordinates (accuracy of point delineation).
7.Application of GPS methods in IG.
8.Plotting of simple geometric elements (inclusion of a point in a line, plotting of right angles, plotting of parallel lines - principle, derivation, accuracy).
9.Transitions and elevations in linear structures (klotoida, cubic parabola - derivation of parametric equations of klotoida, derivation of elevation of outer rails on railway structures, principle of derivation of cubic parabola), circular arcs with extreme transitions (in connection with the 7th semester)
10.Elevation arcs in linear structures (2nd degree parabola - derivation).
