Synopsis:

The two-semester course has a form of seminars and individual consultations, and is focused on improving grammatical and lexical language skills with an emphasis on enriching the vocabulary at the level of both common English, its phraseology and terminology, as well it is aimed at mastering the principles of technical language. Listening and communication skills are practiced in the environment of interactive multimedia computer laboratory. The course is pitched at the upper-intermediate to advanced levels and is ended by a written essay which forms an integral part of the final exam.
