Synopsis:

Chronological Development of railways, starting with the invention of the wheel, the history of wooden-wheel, horse-driven and steam-powered railway, up to the use of the present high-speed railway. Focusing on the development of railway network within Czech territory of 19th century, and the contribution of railway network densities to the Czech Republic's global preeminence. Designing new routes, reasons for their planning, development of the rail construction, railway vehicles, railway operation, modes of travel. Picture and map documentary material, video-projection, and visiting permanent historical expositions implemented.
