- Synopsis:
-
Analysis of statically indeterminate structures by the slope-deflection method and the force method. Principle of virtual work.
- Requirements:
-
Submission of 8 homework assignments and passing mid-term test (>50%) are required for assessment.
The final exam will comprise six problems, with a maximum score of 80. Your final grade will be assigned using the standard ECTS scale based on the combined results of your mid-term review and final tests.
Detailed specifications are available in the course Moodle space.
Course prerequisites for Erasmus students: Experience in determining reactions and internal forces diagrams for planar frames and trusses is essential, along with basic knowledge of elasticity theory for beam structures. Eight credits in structural mechanics are recommended.
