From the origins of Czech political thought in the 1840s to the split-up of the common state. Europeisation of the Czech question and the struggle for political emancipation. The World War I. and forming common state, attitude to the minorities and neighbours, foreign policy. Tragic end of the Republic, Protectorate. Re-established state as a vassal of the USSR. The 1948's crisis, 1950s and 1960s, 1968. Normalisation, 1989 and velvet split-up.
