Developing trends of physics from Antiquity to the 20th century. The beginning of science in the Czech territory. Great physicist during all periods - Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler, Mikolaj Kopernik, Galileo Galilei, Isaac Newton and Albert Einstein. The lectures concentrate on the subjects of classical physics, their beginning and development - mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics and theory of relativity.
