This subject is intent on a modern Czech history. Proceeding from turning points of political history in 20th century, the course also explains the major development trends in social, economic and cultural fields. In methodological terms it proceeds from a search of the history relation to the present time.

4. T. G. Masaryk - political biography.
5. The 30ties-era of an economic crisis and a peril of fascism.
6. The Munich accord 1938 - the end of the First Republic.
7. The occupatin from 1939 to 1945.
8. Domestic and foreign anti-nazi resistance, the liberation 1945.
9. Post-war development from 1945 to 1948.
10. A Communist struggle for power and a conquest in february 1948.
11. Czechoslovakia from 1948 to 1968 - a form of communist totality.
12. The attempt at reform of socialism from 1968 to 1969.
13. Foreign policy.
