Heat-resisting and creep-resisting steels. Tool steels. Non-ferrous metal alloys - basic classification. Copper and copper alloys. Aluminium and aluminium alloys. Titanium and titanium alloys. Introduction. Classification of metallic materials. The principle of strengthening of metalic materials.

Weldable steels with increased yield strength - types of steel, production, processing.

High-strength steels - principles of achieving high strength, maraging steels, secondary hardenable steels.

Stainless materials. Corrosion. Production of stainless steels, types and their main properties.

Ferritic, austenitic, martensitic, duplex steels. Non-ferrous stainless materials.

Creep. Relaxation. Heat-resistant steels, the principle of heat-resistance.

Ferritic and bainitic steels. Austenitic steels. Martensitic steels. Nickel and cobalt alloys. High-melting metals.

Tool materials. The essence. The most important features. Production and processing. Use.

Non-alloy and low-alloy steels. Processing and use. Subledeburitic steels. Steels for hot work.
