The students will educate in the field of radioactivity of the environment. Students will receive the basic information about radioactivity measurements and calculation with the measured values. Information about radon problematic will be given to them in detail.

2.The work with basic laws and recommendations, orientation in problems
3. The examples of doses calculations in general
4. The basic information about the cosmic radiation and it?s measurement
5. Terrestrial radiation

7. ALARA, NORM, TENORM
8. Contamination of the environment; old loading
9. Repeating lecture - examples in connection with the matter lectured on and devices
10. The introduction to radon problematic
11. Radon in soil gas
12. Diagnostic methods
13. Remediation techniques
14. Radon risk, epidemiological studies

Knowledge:
Comprehension of the radioactivity of the individual items of the environment and evaluation of their relevance from radiation protection point of view. Basic knowledge of measurement methods and relationship between measured variables and calculated values.
Abilities:
The ability to determine effective dose and carry out and analyze measurement of the radioactivity of the environment using laboratory or field method.
