1. Maxwell equations for electromagnetic fields in uniform media.
2. Energy of electromagnetic field in nondispersive and dispersive medium, energy balance.
3. Vector and scalar potentials. Hertz vectors.
4. Electrostatic field. Multipole expansion.
5. Wave equation, its solution, retarded potentials.
6. Plane, cylindrical and spherical waves in homogeneous media.
7. Expansion of cylindrical and spherical waves into plane waves.
8. Electromagnetic field of sources with arbitrary distribution.
9. Radiation of electric and magnetic dipole, electric quadrupole.

Knowledge: solid background knowledge of electromagnetic field theory applied to generation and propagation of electromagnetic waves in homogeneous media.
